To help protect our health and safety, the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (under the supervision of Alberta Health Services) has established COVID-19 guidelines for outdoor community rinks. Below are some general rules and guidelines.
● Revised rink hours.
● Free-skate activities are capped at how many people can safely physically distance by two meters on the ice, to a maximum of 50 people.
● A 15 person limit will still be in place for shinny and other unstructured activities where two meters of physical distancing isn't possible
● The rink room will not be available for use. Some seating will be available outdoors and a porta-potty will be available on site.
Giving the evolving situation COVID-19 presents, these guidelines are subject to change at any time and with little to no notice. There will be signage placed around the rink area; please follow these rules so we can continue to enjoy our rink and keep our community safe.
There will be more rink updates in the coming weeks, please check back to our website or FB page. We hope to see you there!
