About Paige
It is important that Yoga is accessible to every “body” regardless of your current fitness level. Yoga is about becoming aware of the relationship between the body, the mind and the breath. Yoga is creating a space free from obstacles in your own mind and body. Yoga is freedom and release, strength and courage, stability and ease. I hope to help others find this release and strength so that they can comfortably and competently navigate their minds and bodies through life with a sense of curiosity and ease.

I discovered yoga after a serious car accident left me in constant physical pain and depressed. Besides the physical difficulties I faced in yoga class, I was shocked at how challenging it was just to breathe properly and relax. I had no idea I had carried so much anxiety and stress. I was amazed at how much better my mind and body felt after class. The more I practiced yoga, the more I discovered yoga gave me the ability and strength to meet the physical, mental, and emotional challenges of life. I was truly surprised at the sense of peace and joy I found in yoga.

In 2006, I found myself feeling increasingly passionate about learning and sharing the benefits of yoga with others. I had to go straight to the source and I enrolled in my first 300-hour yoga teacher training in India. I graduated 1st class distinction receiving my International Teaching Certification from Yoga Vidya Gurukul. I have a great love for learning and have taken numerous yoga and
mediation trainings over the years. I have realized ‘Wherever you go, there you are’ (thank you Jon Kabat-Zinn). So there is no need to travel to find a greater connection with one’s self and others. We are always learning, changing and evolving. What I teach now may become outdated or evolve into something similar but different in the future.
